The International Association for Private Service Professionals (IAPSP)Welcome to our website! The IAPSP is a trade association for the individuals who are employed in private service. The Association is being carefully designed to provide support services, networking opportunities and self-paced educational experiences for the executive members of the private service community including; Estate Managers, Butlers, Household Managers, Personal Assistants, Management Couples, Private Chefs, Managers of Executive Protection, Nanny Managers, Enlisted Aides, Protocol Officers and more. Our membership also includes and represents Staffing Agencies, Educators, Consultants, and Business Affiliates who support the luxury market. The IAPSP is organized as an industry cooperative, and run by a volunteer labor workforce, where the return on each member's investment comes from the peer connections they make with other members, the collaborative experiences that they learn from and the services that they build together for themselves and the community to enjoy. Professional service providers have much to give and we must remember to extend that gift to ourselves, and to our community! As the Association of the Private Service Community, the IAPSP is rapidly becoming the place to corroborate and then give back, enhancing our own community. The priorities of the IAPSP for 2009 include producing and supporting the development of local ÔchapterÕ meetings, planning a community-wide trade conference and establishing this website as a central communication portal for the Private Service Community. Here you will begin to find comprehensive resource guides and a forum to explore and develop our service ideas, without the branding of any particularly focused, for-profit business venture. There is much work to do to realize our goal of creating local chapters in 12 cities worldwide and the successful production of a semi-annual trade conference for the community over the next three years! Your ideas and participation in planning a conference are not only welcome; they are a necessary to creating a successful inaugural conference. Through the actualization of these objectives the IAPSP hopes to reach out to many different disciplines within private service throughout the world, learn from their wisdom and share our dream of building an organized and professional Private Service Community.
